Cover LetterI am a 29-year newspaper veteran with a multifaceted level of experience, which includes my most recent position as regional director (publisher) for 14 daily/weekly newspapers and web properties for Civitas Media,LLC.
I am a third generation newspaper executive, with a deep commitment to both the communities and properties I serve. Most of my career was with a family owned newspaper group, Freedom Communications. For 25 years, Freedom was a very family oriented company that not only valued financial results, but valued the people that worked hard to achieve those results. I would like to once again work for a company that values both commitment and results.
Brand value, improving and capitalizing upon it, is key to a solid newspaper operation, both inside and out. This is also key to success financially, with readers and advertisers.
